Meet Chef Laura Horan Laura’s style is heavily influenced by her Michigan heritage and deep roots in farm to table cooking. Her passion for locally sourced foods and sustainability is inspired by her grandmother‘s “waste not, want not” mantra which shows up in Laura’s execution in preparing dishes that consider minimal waste while maximizing flavor and artistic flair. After attending Secchia Institute of Culinary Arts, Laura took her career to the Pacific Northwest and worked at resorts in Sunriver, OR and Roslyn, WA as a Special Events Chef. Laura was lured across the country to our beautiful state of Maine after accepting a position with the Cliff House where she served as the Executive Sous Chef for many years.
